Wrinkles Derma
olive oil as beauty regimen on face and body?
i heard from some people that using olive oil on face and body will make them very smooth and silky. is this true? did anyone tried this for how long and how much time it takes before the effect? is it good also for not smooth looking skin? my skin is not beautiful. it has so many imperfections, i wonder if olive oil will make my skin look very nice, that i dont need to go a derma. how should i apply olive oil on my body?the way i see it its very sticky and messy, will stain clothes and sheets. how long should i dry before i dress up? on my face, when and how should i apply it?does it really reduces wrinkles? do you know someone or celebs using olive oil for several years and their effects?
What will they try to sell us next? Oils are what clogs your pores.... please think logically
Good Luck!
Dermawand: Does Tissue Warming Really Reduce Wrinkles?

DermaWand® Overview
When you invest in the wand and dedicate yourself to the daily regiments of "no needle" restoration and if you are patient enough you may smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The DermaWand® is said to be based on the same technology that is used in facial salons around the world. The technology apparently "rejuvenates, oxygenates, and stimulates" the surface of the skin.
Method at a Glance
Our best description for the DermaWand® would be a curling iron with a little bulb attached to the end. Through that bulb it is said a thermal recharging current is delivered to the surface of the skin as you pass the wand over the face and neck.
Method in Focus
You must do the DermaWand® treatments everyday after the skin has been thoroughly washed and hydrated with a special moisturizer. The thermal effect of the wand is what is claimed to do all that rejuvenating, oxygenating, and stimulating the manufacturer so proudly proclaims. A DVD will guide you through the various methods that are said to target special cosmetic issues. Puffy eyes may be treated to diminish the appearance of excess folds. You may oxygenate away the pitted appearance of enlarged pores and the advertising goes so far as to claim you can plump your lips to make them more kissable.
Positives
Negatives
- The technology used by DermaWand® may not produce the dramatic results the advertising insinuates.
- Time-consuming treatment that only treats the surface of the skin
Final Thoughts
We are hard-pressed to be convinced of the DermaWand® technology for the aging issues most consumers are looking to address. Treating the surface area of the skin begins by treating the layers beneath the surface. Formulas that penetrate the skin and deliver ingredients that can improve collagen and elasticity is a primary focus in the more reliable anti-aging products available on today’s competitive market. Often there are ingredients like Matrixyl 3000 used in formulas that not only replenish collagen but also stimulates the lower layers of the skin in regeneration. Hyaluronic acid will also appear in anti-aging creams because of its properties that attract and maintain water within the microscopic space between the layers of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is also believed to assist in the transport of essential nutrients to the skin's viable cells.
